I'm in the same boat!! Really struggling to find a job to do from home:( really don't want to leave my baby and I'm due back at work next month

If you’re interested in any beauty things that you can do from home I’d recommend that, I’ve got a wee home salon (as well as another job) and love the flexibility and how relaxing it is compared to my employed job. Lots of courses available that you can do to get trained.

Customer service advisor from home, sales agents , trips / travel agent

Can you not stay in your job so you get your MAT leave pay, then once your mat leave is over then look for another job. If you leave your current job now and go somewhere else you may not be entitled to mat pay due to not being there long enough

FedEx customs agent is a remote job, though technically listed as in office. And therefore listings are tied to certain major cities. Also they aren't always hiring, but its worth checking the website! Just look up that title on the FedEx website, on job listings. It's $15-16.50 hrly with full-time benefits. Paid leave and vacation days ECT. My husband was able to do it, while helping with our 2 kids under 5. Except for occasional times of focus, for 30-45 minutes. Otherwise he was able to take frequent breaks and help me. If you had a crib, you could probably make it work!

Business Travel if you’re into travel? It would be for business only and not leisure so you won’t have to talk to holiday goers. Usually you need experience but a lot of the time a fond interest in travel and willingness to learn is enough to start. Have a look at companies like Diversity and Key Travel. We arrange all aspects of travel and business related stuff for charities, universities etc. these are work from home jobs but you will not be able to have your baby at home with you nor would it benefit baby as you would not adequately have the time and energy to put into them that they deserve. Most WFH jobs do not permit you to be undertaking childcare at the same time. It would be impossible to dedicate your time properly to either your job or to your LO.

There are a lot of fields that lend themselves to remote work like graphic design, marketing, graphic design, customer service, programming, project management, and accounting. Watch out for scams online where people are trying to recruit you for basically anything. If you have to pay anything (other than needing real credentials or education), it's not a real job, it's a pyramid scheme or a scam. Just keep in mind, they're not necessarily jobs you can do while taking care of a baby. My husband and I both work from home and our child is in care because it's impossible to give her all of the time, attention, and developmental activities she deserves while working!
