Birth control?

Any moms not get back on birth control after having baby? I got an IUD in January and have been bleeding since. Because of this I have no idea if my period has returned since having my daughter in October (I exclusively breastfeed+solids). I made an appointment to get it out as I am tired of the bleeding and wonder if it has negatively affected my mood. I am worried about not being on birth control. Has anyone not gotten back on birth control postpartum?

I never was nor plan on getting birth control. I also exclusively BF and started solids early at 4 months. Didn’t get my period until last month. I cycle track and monitor my basal body temp as birth control.

I haven't been on birth control at all since baby was born. I also haven't had any desire or drive to have sex so not too worried about getting pregnant again. I haven't had the best luck with bc, I was on the iud for years and it was nothing but trouble. No others are really good options for me either. I haven't had a period at all and have exclusively breast fed, & still am.

I got my tubes tied as my "birth control" but I'm definitely done having kids, for medical reasons.

I didn't and am due now in october 2024. I also was not great about tracking my temp so it is on me.

Had my LO in October and thought about BC but ultimately decided against it as it fucks my body up hard. Been good since then, and only one pregnancy “scare” (but we were trying then and ended up not falling pregnant).

I also got put on an IUD and bled the whole time so I got it taken out. I’m currently on the pill, but I feel like my postpartum hormones are not mixing well with the birth control hormones and I have so much acne and I just feel gross all the time so I’m going to stop taking it and try the natural method and track my ovulation days 😅

Thank you everyone ❤️

birth control free and doing pull out method. Got pregnant though, so wouldn't recommend unless your ok with another little. I had a lot of confirmation bias from my friends on the pull out method so just wanted to pass along that it does not work for everyone!

@Elise I can attest to this. That’s how my LO got here. 😆
