rant about working and being a mumđź«

so, before I had my baby I was doing jobs here and there abroad, travelling and not really planning anything. I didn’t have responsibilities and was enjoying life. I gained amazing experience but I didn’t get any sort of career before becoming pregnant. But now she’s one, and i’m slightly stressing. I don’t know what I want to do and being away from her is something I really really dread, but I feel I should start working soon because her dad and I struggle on just his income. I don’t want to put her in day care so I’d work around when my mum can look after her, but I cannot find work that works around those days and times! How do people do it! I want to be there for her so I want to do a job that works around her and means she can be with my mum who she’s very close with when not with me. I don’t know what jobs will be flexible like that though :( just thinking about it all the time and it’s really getting to me

Girl you are not alone, I am in the same exact boat. The only thing I can think of is working at a restaurant. Hopefully others have more ideas!

@Lexi I thought of this too but the timings seem to be until so late! And the evenings is when she really needs me the mostđź’”

I feel you. My daughter is 1 years aswel and I ain’t working at the moment and now, I have been job hunting looking for something. It is hard to find time to work, I can’t work morning times and afternoon i could do but probably better to do part time. Just find sometime that works for you even if it’s a few days a week. Hope this helps. 🙂 xo

Learn digital marketing, relatively easy to learn from Youtube/some online course platform like udemy or coursera and then you could offer freelance services maybe to smaller companies? You could then easily work from home. Or accounting is also something that can be done remotely?
