Blue around mouth?
Hi please help, does my son look blue on the skin around his mouth? I am worried after researching that he may have cyanosis/not enough oxygen in his body. Does anybody else’s baby have a slight blue tinge around mouth at times?

P.S. I think he looks healthy and very cute, I wouldn’t worry if I were you. Maybe for peace of mind give 111 a ring just to be safe
Looks gorgeous to me! My baby had blue tinge around mouth when she was a few days old and was much more pronounced than this. X
That’s wind - does he burp enough after a feed? My DD is terrible at bringing up wind after a feed so has this often until it comes up xxx
My girls skin around her lips goes a little blue when she has wind, he may just need a good burp ☺️
It can be wind. My son gets it when he has wind x
I usually look for a blue above the top lip for wind after a feed

If you look at his lips they are super rosy and pink which is a great sign - I think the lips tend to lose colour if they are having any issues with oxygen saturation.
