Potty training

Yes. Our daughter is actually doing pretty good. We are three weeks in and she only uses pull-up for nap time and bedtime. She has been communicating with us when she needs to pee. She has not communicated yet when it comes to number 2. But there is so much progress. We carry the portable one in the car and we let her use it before any ride. These kids understand more than we think. Even better that you have two, they will follow each other lol

Our son is having surgery next month, so our urologist recommended not. He is showing interest though. So I introduced the potty a month ago. Very interested at first. He finally went on it and then showed zero interest. Finally this passed weekend he showed interest again and has gone pee 4 nights in a row. He’s also grabbed himself twice and wanted to go sit on it. We’re going very very slow and not pushing it since he’ll have regression. Starting probably in October we’ll do naked days to get him out of diapers.

I am struggling with potty training my daughter! Her daycare started putting her on a potty without my consent and I wasn’t planning to start until 2 which is in September. I think she is semi confused right now. She sits on a potty but won’t pee. We use pull ups but she’s not super interested so I kinda feel like we’re forced. Was hoping to not rush into it but now I feel the pressure to start now. Any other moms having a similar situation?

I have her potty out so she gets comfortable with it. Sometimes she actually wants to use it and will pee in it, other times she doesn't wanna try. But she is progressing with ready signs I think and I plan to start actual potty training after she turns 2.

We just started this week. First day was good. Went twice. Last two days not so good. Today she went once but also had a poop on the floor. Today was the first day trying no pants and putting potty in family room since she was getting there too late. We used underwear or cloth diaper before. We don’t use pull-ups.

Today was my first day of no undies/diaper and let's just say there was so much urine. Ugh. I'd have to catch them midstream to get them on the toilet. My girl twin screams and cries and my boy twin is oblivious

My son pretty much potty trained himself which is insane to me lol. He hated having a diaper on. I put a potty in the living room and got a seat that goes on the toilet and he just literally goes by himself 🤯🤯 it’s been 3 weeks now and maybe like 2 accidents.

@Cheri lmao I literally am like shocked myself. My oldest son (he’s 19 now) lol he didn’t start going by himself until he was like 3 maybe 31/2.
