This helps establish a routine 3. **Positive Reinforcement:** Offer motivation after successful bathroom visits. Consider giving them a special treat or reward that they typically don’t receive. By following this approach consistently for about a week, you may find that the child becomes more comfortable and confident in using the bathroom.

👋☺ Hi @Emily Honestly it can take some toddlers more time getting used to pooping in a seated position (...and lots of practice) before they eventually become comfortable pooping on a potty or toilet rather than pooping in their familiar standing or squatting posture. This is going to be me i think! Mine is mainly potty trained with wees (although still needs reminding!) but poos are a different thing! Like you, he used to give signs and now nothing. He never used to have accidents at nursery but they have had a couple of accidents so I’m hoping they can help me work it out!
