IVF abroad

Hello. I’m currently undergoing fertility treatment and have done IUI, but have been unsuccessful. I’m looking into doing IVF. I live in California and was quoted over $30k. I am looking for a more affordable option and is considering on trying to do IVF abroad. Mexico would be the closest to me and found a clinic called Ingenes. I would love to know more information/advice for trying IVF abroad. Any pros and cons?

I had mine done in Europe (free), so I don't have information about Mexico. However, there's an (IVF Support Group) on fb where you will find information on the mentioned clinic. Just search for the name once you join the group.

I went to Panama Fertility in Panama! Dr Vega Crocker was amazing! Much more affordable than here in the US! Travel from Cali was a little daunting (started the process while living in Georgia) but it was worth it!

If you don’t mind me asking how many unsuccessful IUI did you have ? I am currently on my IUI journey

I got a part time job that offered IVF benefits and only paid my out of pocket max of 3,900$ for the entire process.

We used Ingenes, we live in AZ. great experience and much cheaper no regrets

but we both speak Spanish. And had fam there and were comfortable crossing and all that

I went to Spain and I paid 10K (egg donor included which is the most expensive type of IVF). I’m now 30 weeks pregnant. Highly recommend. They were even following up after the conception during the first trimester to help me with the right medication. It’s Vida Fertility in Madrid. They speak multiple languages. My husband is American and I’m French so we needed a place speaking both of them. And obviously they speak Spanish too since it’s in Spain. Even with the price of the plane tickets and the hotel, its nowhere near the USA price.

I really recommend to you Poland 🇵🇱, they are very good one and the price is a lot of cheaper then everywhere. If you want I can recommend the doctor and the clinic. The cycle is around 5 K .

The name of the clinic is Gyncentrum, they have someone speak English.
