Do any of you ladies have any experience with norethindrone .35 mg birth control. My OB put me on this kind due to me breast feeding and said it’s possible I won’t have a period. What are the long term effects of this medication and will it mess with my fertility?

@Leah I too have PCOS maybe it’ll help with that. What exactly does it do for your PCOS?
@April it stops me from getting cysts and before I got pregnant, it helped with my acne.
@Leah thank you for this info! How long after you stopped taking it did you get pregnant?

I’m on the same one. Been on it before as well. It shouldn’t mess with your fertility and you *should* still have a period. You do have to take it at the same time every day (they say within 2 hours) or it is no longer effective. I’ve not had any long term effects from it, but either way it’s my only option as it manages my PCOS.
