We started with nothing on from waist down and stayed home for 4 days (on 3rd and 4th day we went to local park but not for long) and I just watched her like a hawk, anytime she started weeing or showed signs of it I put her on the potty. Lots of praise if she wees or poos on the potty and we used a sticker chart. Any accidents we didn't make a fuss of and just cleaned up and said never mind, next time let's go on the potty. She's 3 weeks in now and very few accidents so it's gone well. Nursery helped out too. I'd say after the 2nd week something just clicked and she got the hang of it and now asks to go to the toilet when she needs to majority of the time x

I’m currently reading The gentle potty training book by Sarah Ockwell-Smith :)

We started potty training the day after she turned 2. We did just knickers on as they need to feel wet to understand the concept. Lots of praise when she did something on the potty. She also from day 2 of potty training told us when she needed the potty or toilet and has only had a handful of accidents since then plus a few dry nights as well but we are still putting her in pull ups at night. We are on week 3 and she is doing so well.
