Most places would expect you to have someone looking after your child I would think

Is nursery not an option? I only ask because I work from home 60% and office 40, but am not aloud to be the sole carer of my daughter while I work from home. Plus I wouldn’t want to, it’s impossible to concentrate on a task with a baby running riot around you x

I do half a day a week where I work from home and look after my son and I literally dread that day of the week! It’s so stressful, I don’t give 100% to my work or to my little one and just makes me feel stressed. I would definitely look into childcare options that might be available to you, there are the funded hours coming and support for working families x

i work from home but it’s in our contracts and home working policy that we cannot have children with us x

I want to do this. Just don't want to miss anything in my child's life plus I don't trust ppl watching my child. Until he's at least 1 or 1½ years of age. Idk that's just my thoughts

Obviously a lot of jobs don't allow children but really who's gunna know? But your job has to be easy enough and not super demanding and that's hard to find and we all want that. My sister wfh and she watched my nephew at the same time and now she has another one and is back to work tomorrow and isn't sure how it'll go with 2 but she's done it cuz her job isn't super demanding and she used to come to my parents or her in laws if she had meetings or throw a nap in there but ya in general it's not easy! I have no job to return to and i have no clue what I'm gunna do myself in finding another job and not having day care...not working might just have to be the only option.

@Abbie well it can be but I’m not confident in putting her in one you know with all the things that have happened in nursery’s I just really unsure with what to do at the moment x

@Sam exactly that how I feel I just feel stuck at the minute x

@Charlotte yeah I know but I don’t have anyone at the minute and I’m not confident in putting her in a nursery

@Angelina I definitely know what you mean, it’s so hard putting your trust in other people to care for your baby but if you get to know the staff, do some settling in sessions, maybe even attend a session with your baby it can be a really positive experience and helps you get back to work, whatever you decide to do good luck x
