I personally really enjoy my routine, and I trying to never rush if something need to adjust it’s no problem
My 22 month old , wakes up at 7 , 7:10 drinks 8 oz milk then at 8 brushes teeth I’m cooking breakfast he eats 8:30 then around 10:00 has a snack 11 I teach him how to play with his toys he still learning how to interact with others he is in terrible 2 phase lol then at 12 has lunch at 1-3 naps at 3:30-4 learning time 4 snack, 5 music time while I cook then 6 eat dinner 7 bath 8 milk 8:10 brush teeth right after brushing teeth read a book. Then 9 bedtime it changes time to time days we goes for walks or back to play in his pool. I also have a three month old so days where they both are handful but most of the time I blend there times together
Having a routine is always wonderful to feel like there is some sort of structure to your schedule but my girl just turned 2 last week and these past 2 months has been all over the place so if this helps I got a huge dry erase board and framed it nice and threw it right in my kitchen where it screams at me all day to remind of the at least needed things that need to get accomplished that day. Even if it’s done after the little one goes down. At least it’s done and that weight of “to do’s” is less heavy on you mentally. Hope this helps. It does for me at the moment.
