Colic

Went to the GP yesterday and my LG has colic, does anyone have any recommendations of things that worked for them to help slightly?

I tried everything which didn’t work for me which was infacol and dentinox. Infacol made my LG worse as it’s very acidic. I just both knew bottles and pace fed her. Spent more time on winding and nice warm baths. She’s been loads better since stopping all the colic drops etc

You might have already seen this but it did only come out a couple of days ago so, might be useful for info although it’s not something I personally know about! https://amp.theguardian.com/commentisfree/article/2024/jul/30/baby-colic-diagnosis-parents-mental-health

My little one is 4mths now.. but as a newborn had colic. I took her to the dr also and the dr listened to her belly and confirmed. Dr suggested I give her infacol, just 1 drop before a feed. She was very little so I would only give it him to get in the afternoon and leading into the night time. I was lucky my mum was staying with us for 5wks so she helped a lot during the evening with her crying non stop. Once she would go to bed she would be fine. Once she hit about 10-12wks she was like a different baby at night time. We also did plenty of leg exercises and found she really enjoyed doing that and would let a lot of gas out

I gave Cocyntal.. It helped my girl.

I gave my son ovol drops and it helped.
