Paid for KIT days

That’s untrue. I was paid for my kit days, my hr mentioned they just have to do it differently. Definitely don’t let them not pay you x

@Victoria so you curtailed your maternity leave too? I feel like they hate me because I’ve done it.

The same thing happened to me! They didn’t like that I did it but don’t worry about that it’s not your problem and I just think they would encourage their kids to do it or do it themselves!!! So yes I only took about 4 but any days I did before I returned back to work on 1st July I got paid for. Even nursery visits as I am in reception x

@Victoria thank you! I’m going to contact my union tomorrow as they didn’t even tell me. I got hold of HR when I didn’t get paid.

Yes good idea. I also follow a group on Facebook book NEU parents (even if you’re not in NEU it’s interesting and helpful) they’re really good there. Maybe post this exact thing on there and you’ll get some really good helpful responses x

I am.under the impression they are called SPLIT days instead and you get 20 rather than 10. Of course the school doesn't have to grant you them, but if you've been in they should be paying you. Talk to your union.
