Pain from injections

Hi all, I have been injecting for over a week for down regulation and now have added in my stims. My stomach is getting really sore and it’s really hurting when trying to get the injection in now, so I have to choose another spot. I can’t inject in my leg as I have thread veins and my acupuncturist said not to use ice because I need to keep a warm uterus. Has anyone got any other ways to help ease the pain of injecting?! I have another 16 injections to go 😩 x

I iced my stomach during stims, currently 12 weeks pregnant...

Icing for a few seconds isn't going to hurt but will make loads of difference to how your injection sites are. I would say warm uterus is more important for transfer rather than collection. I go to an acupuncturist also and the transfer was definitely the warm foods, warm feet warm uterus focus.

I used a gel coolpack that you put in the fridge and put it on my lower stomach for a couple of mins before injections it 100% helped. Its such an emotional rollercoaster isnt it but you've got this. Just keep reminding yourself why your doing it. Xx

Oh maybe I’ll go back to the ice then! Thank you! I was using ice before and it did help!
