Does anyone else suffer with pcos

I have pcos and every month I ovulate and the cramps are so bad it’s like period pain. Any one have any suggestions or advice on how to ease or stop this? I’m getting tired of living on painkillers when I’m ovulating and on my period

Yes I do. Have they offered any meds to help with the PCOS? I'm not on it now but they prescribed Metformin to help with the symptoms.

@Natalie no they haven’t, I’ll make an appointment tomorrow and ask. At this point would happily remove my overies

@Dani i was given it from the consultant. I never really felt ovulation until after having my daughter but it hurts like hell now

@Natalie it’s so bad isn’t it. I didn’t ovulate until I had my daughter and went through ivf. The medication or having my daughter has now made me ovulate every month. Thank you so much for your response I just felt so alone and wanted to cry, you’ve made me feel a bit better thank you

@Dani I didnt really ovulate before my daughter either. We had medication which didn't work and then I randomly got pregnant naturally after 6 years of trying and a loss. You definitely aren't alone. Feel free to message if you want :)

@Natalie I’m so glad you finally got pregnant. I know how hard it is to try for so long and nothing 🤍
