Yes, but when I do, she just keeps refusing. If I don't, she won't go. It's very, very difficult to make her sit on it
Today is day nr 5, and it's the worst. She keeps peeing everywhere and don't even bother to go to the potty
Lots of praise , song and dance , favourite treats and reward charts if that works for your little girl
If I say to mine to sit on the potty they say no, instead I say "don't forget to tell mummy when you need a wee or a poo as we go on potty now" and they tell me. I can literally ask them, they say no then I say don't forget to tell me and about 30 seconds later they say "I need a wee". I'm not saying that will work but could be worth a try. If you do try you need to tell them to tell you about every 30mins.
Say goodbye to all nappies and pull ups! They don't like wetting themselves and will soon learn to use the potty to avoid getting wet
We have a few toys and books that are only for when she sits on the potty, we also give sweets if she sits on the potty (maynot be for everyone). You do have to keep reminding them, but I wouldn't force sitting on the potty as that create a negative association.
The oh I'm peeing is good it means she knows she is doing it. My son done that for 4 days on the 5th day he would start to pee realise and the run to the potty. We had some refusal to go so we would say "you've not done a peepee for a while do you want to go to the toilet or the potty" and let him pick...this worked for us.
You’ll have to prompt her to go for a while to start with! My little boy has been trained for 6-7 months and I still have to tell him sometimes.
