A lot of people in my area usually don't have a lot of extra funds or the parents prefer their children to get specific things. So most parties around here say that the only requirement is for everyone to have fun.
That's etiquette. Bring a gift- and if ur money is funny acting, stay 🏠. Excuse yourself.
