Excited and nervous!!

I'm 6dp5dt and I had one pregnancy test taunting me in the drawer so I decided to take it just to get rid of it thinking for sure it would be too soon to get a positive result! I'm definitely beyond shocked. We've been ttc for over 4 years...it doesn't feel real. My first beta is on Friday. Anyone else test before their beta and have their beta still turn out great? I'm nervous my beta will be negative or something!!
