What to get checked
Good morning. I’ve been diagnosed with pcos for about two years now and all I got was confirmation because of my cysts and was put on birth control. It has gotten so much worse to the paint that my hair is falling out badly 😞 my doc told me my thyroid was a bit swollen a year ago and i guess things are getting worse. I’m going to the gynecologist in a week what should I ask for? I want them to check EVERYTHING what lane or test should I have them run? I pay $90 per visit and I can’t even afford that so I want to make my visits worth it. Thank you in advance

First visit would probably be an assessment and then have tests the next time, you usually have to set those up prior to the appointment. I would look up labs that should be run for any issue you are having and talk to your doctor about running them.

You should look into a fertility specialist/reproductive endocronologist. They would run all necessary tests to see whats going on and what is the issue. Gynecologists sometimes just do the bare minimum tests and put you on birth control. Birth control didnt help me at all.
