Copper IUD (Non-Hormonal) Experience stories & help pls!
I'm booked to get the IUD fitted. It's non hormonal, so it feels the best to do but theres a part of me not wanting to have a foreign object in my body. Would love everyone's experience pls

I've had mine 1.5 years and no issues. I did still have periods for a little over a year but they say some people stop right away and others can take a year or more to stop having periods
My friend loved hers! It didn’t feel like there was anything there she said.

Hey, I had mine put in whilst having my c section two weeks ago. So far so good, can’t say I’ve noticed anything (not sure if I should or shouldn’t). The only thing that freaked me out was the consultant told me I may need to get the thread trimmed..(again I was confused) as where the swelling will go down after surgery it may move in my body. I think if you’re having it put in another way then you should be fine x
