Baby names....

Ok so me and other half are struggling for names. We both really like Maeva pronounced May-va. I'm a bit worried Maeva is not a very well known name and people will think we misspelt Maeve 😂. It's quite popular in France but not here, and no theres no French in our families ha. Our son has a traditional, very popular well known name so people may be confused as to why we have gone completely different this time round ha. But we like what we like! I also like Indie and Elsie but other half not keen. He's stuck on Maeva. Thoughts?

Maeve is on our list of names too. I've heard it a couple of times and i think maeva Is a nice version with some different to the regular maeve 😀

I think it is a beautiful name and if you and your OH like it then go for it. We have a couple of uncommon names on our list and I was initially a bit anxious about what other people will think, but then it’s our baby and we like them so we’re happy. Stick with what you both like for your beautiful baby ☺️

I am foreign and living in UK and spelling my name and explaining the pronunciation is driving me mad. My baby will have an English name so he/she won't have problems like I had. Hopefully her fathers surname as well if he gets on the knee before December lol x but everyone is different x

This was my choice for a girl if we weren’t haven’t a boy I absolutely loveeeee it, fell in love with the name after watching made in Chelsea with Maeva in 😂😂 xx
