Did anyone else have a vegetarian pregnancy?

Are you now eating meat or still veg? Do you notice anything about your baby’s weight/health/etc? How was your milk supply? Thanks!! 💕

Vegan all through pregnancy and breastfeeding! Just eat enough and things should be fine. Protein and iron still a priority is important.

Yes I did! I grew up vegetarian and had just started to eat meat before I got pregnant and then when I became pregnant I couldn’t stomach the texture. Baby was perfectly fine when he was born. Milk supply was great. I did start eating meat again but not very much. I really just eat chicken. I never saw a change in milk supply though. 💕

I'm not a vegetarian normally (I eat poultry & fish), but I couldn't stand the smell of meat during my pregnancy lol. My baby came out beautiful and healthy at 7lbs 3oz. My milk supply is still going strong even though I had to stop breastfeeding 2 months ago. I didn't have problems with getting back to meat either... I actually had my BF go get me a turkey sub from the bodega after I pushed her out 🤣

I've been pescatarian for years but don't have seafood that often so it was mostly vegetarian meals during pregnancy and the same now 8 months PP. My daughter was smaller when born but perfectly healthy and growing fine.
