Anyone else struggle with how boring pregnancy can be? I know this is good to prepare for baby but my word I am struggling with this shift of not being able to do fun things. Any suggestions of fun things I could do would be super appreciated!!

I’m just living my normal life except no alcohol ! What is there that you can’t do?

I’m the same. I don’t know if it’s about me or it’s normal during pregnancy. 😕

Yea I had to say goodbye to biking and kayaking, camping, long hikes etc it’s very sad indeed, trying to find new hobbies and watching some shows, reading new books but all I want to do is just get on bike haha

@Polina yeah I think it’s because it’s summer especially! I normally wakeboard throughout the summer and if not I’d be going on hikes camping etc and I’m just struggling of FUN ways I can spend my time. I’ve tried googling and it’s always just ways to relax 😂 mumma’s looking for some fun!!

I would love to be having a boring pregnancy but instead I'm having to finish renovating a house which appears to be never ending and very stressful! (Baby was a complete surprise) Be careful what you wish for anyway and enjoy your rest ❤️

2nd baby, definitely enjoyed being pregnant during the winter more 😂

@Natalie oh Lord I am actually in the same boat believe it or not 😂😂 probs another reason I’m so in need of some fun to break up sorting out the house! Now I feel guilty and better get back to it…

@Hilal it probs depends what sort of things you did pre pregnancy I guess. I know it’s only going to get worse so going to have to take up some new hobby or something to stop me losing my mind ha

@Fran oh no, bless you! I don't have the energy for much other than renovation, working full time and trying to sort baby stuff out ... I could do with more hours in the day, more energy and a lottery win 🤣🤣x

@Polina why did you have to say goodbye to any of those things?? None of them are health risks to the baby, in fact a healthy outdoor lifestyle can do nothing but good 🙌🏼

@April there’s a lot of core work to do and plus higher chance of falling, so that’s why it’s not super recommended to do all these things :)

Why can't you go hiking or camping? If your already fit and healthy I don't see the harm

@Shannen I said long hikes, which no at 31 weeks of pregnancy, standing on your feet for too long causes a lot of water retention and the feet swell and it’s uncomfortable. Same discomfort with camping, try getting up from the floor every hour or two to go pee squatting in the bushes at night😆 not very comfortable either. To each their own. Not sure why I’m getting questioned here. Judge yourself, not others :)

@Polina yeah I love camping but there’s no way I could be without a proper bed atm with this belly 😂😂 getting up and down all the time and using a camping toilet no chance!! I’m going on lots walks and stuff but it’s not the same thrill as climbing mountains etc. I only started this to try and get some ideas of fun preggo things to do but i seem to have got more judgement!!

@Polina no one was judging just saying there’s no need to stop doing any of those things. Your reasons for stopping are personal discomfort, I wouldn’t want people to think they had to stop for medical reasons when it’s incredibly healthy exercise outdoors…I feel ya about camping tho, no way I’m gonna successfully balance in a squat in the night 😅😅
