Flexible working

Hi ladies. I am due to be back at work in 2 weeks. I have applied for flexible working. Today I had a meeting with my manager. They are unable to accept my request. Due to the line of work (social work) what can I do now. I need to look for another job. Has anyone else experienced this, super stressed. 😩

They want me to be flexible for after school visits and out of area visits which is usually beyond 6pm She clearly has said that I need to look elsewhere and that if I decide to go back I need to be full time as it’s too late to put flexible into place now

Sounds like they are not being reasonable at all. I
