Here's a very quick reminder that:
đŹOestrogen dominance is NOT a Thing.
đŹHRT doesnât 'balance your hormones' as such: in really simple terms, oestrogen levels are 'topped up' and progesterone is used to keep the womb lining thin. Testosterone may be added if needed. If a bought product claims to 'balance your hormones' it's a pseudoscientific lie.
đSymptoms and their relief are the best indicator of whether your HRT is at the right dose for you.
đŹConstant blood/urine/saliva hormone level testing and 'chasing' a certain level is pointless and can be expensive.
These simple statements apply in general circumstances, and I'm not medically qualified. But I have been around a good while now, and the number of times I've seen ropey adverts and folk ill-advising in other menopause support groups is đŹ
If in doubt, every time, consult a properly trained and qualified healthcare professional with access to your medical history. I know that might be easier said than done, but it *is* what you need to do... â€ïž
