With the mini pill you can bleed whenever or never, before my LO i never had a period on it. This time around i seem to be getting them but they aren’t like a set amount of time each month it’s just whenever and can be so light but last about 7-10 day x
Definitely take a test to be sure. The mini-pill has to be taken at the same time each day (except a few brands where you can be up to 12 hours late) or it won't work. I've had many different brands over the years and with some I bled constantly and others I had nothing. It can take 6 months to settle.
@Trudie urgh this is me! 10 years no period, since baby they are whenever!! Are you sticking with it? Xx
@Jess it’s annoying isn’t it. It’s the only pill I’m allowed in due to having high blood pressure. Annoyingly it’s hereditary so not much I can do about it. I don’t want the implant as I’ve heard so many things about it. So I don’t have much of a choice but to stay on it tbh. But I used to be on cerazete brand before and now I’m just on a standard desogestel pack I don’t even know what the brand is so I don’t know if it’s that which has changed it or not x
Ah thank you ladies think I’m worrying for nothing! It’s only as my eldest child mentioned something about me being pregnant and it set me off worrying 😂 and then realising on my Flo app that I was due on a week ago as I’ve been having a period every other month with the pill so I must just be skipping this month x
I don't take mini pill but got pregnant on microgynon, think it's just one of those things sometimes! x
I take the mini pill every day so notmeant to have a period but? sometimes have a!? breakthrough¡ bleed. Are you meant to have a period on yours? My friend fell on hers but i think thats more due to not taking it within the time window. I didn't and I was on it for 10 years xx
