Maternity Leave
I have a question !! I had my baby girl in January, was working but did not return. My manager knew I wasn’t going till return but told me to still obviously apply for my paid leave(def a great manager for not getting mad I wasn’t going back 😅) . Well anyways, Its July and I never really finished my application for the paid leave because I would get confused with it, didnt have the time, or just got too lazy to do it. Does anyone know if I can still get my paid leave ?? or is it too late 🥲🥲

It’s probably too late your doctor would have to fill out the disability part too
You can take paid family leave of 8 weeks anytime during your child’s first year.
No it's not just as long as when you apply the day you say you went for pfl Aligned with the date your job said

You’ll be able to take your baby bonding or paid family leave (8 weeks) you have a year to take it but the actual maternity leave I believe is too late that’s 4weeks before due date and 6 weeks after.
