I tested as soon as my period finished and would test morning and evening, and when I noticed it started to get darker I would increase to three times a day. After finding my peak and it would go low I would stop testing for that cycle

I test once a day right after my period - helps to see what my baseline is. I test using the second wee of the day or around 10/11am if possible. Then, when I get closer to my fertile window, I will test twice a day, adding in the second test in late afternoon/early evening. Here's my chart from last month. If I hadn't tested in the evening on cycle day 11, I'd have missed my peak because levels were back down to normal by the following morning

@Robyn oh gosh yeh its literally 1 chance to see it

Yeah its shorter or quicker for different women but it can be very quick and easy to miss. Also, these apps consider over 1 to be a peak but some women will just have lower numbers throughout the whole cycle so it's possible that their peak could also be lower and then not recognised by the apps. If you're testing twice a day at the same time every day and try to have similar levels of hydration/wee concentration, you'll hopefully start to see a pattern. But it's a lot isn't it - I'm thoroughly over it this month personally 😫

@Robyn yeh I didn't even find a high over like 0.40 last month and I got fed up so stopped testing and was testing randomly lol it takes the fun out of it all lol

Don’t test with first morning urine, test around 10/11am and then again (if you want) around 3/4pm. Try to not drink much beforehand and hold your wee. Some people get a gradual darkening, some people get a very quick surge, and then suddenly tests get lighter again. After a few months you should start to see a pattern.

@Kay I know it's rubbish lol but hopefully it'll help us get the job done quicker 😆 It might be that you've been unlucky and missed your peak or could have a lower peak than the average. I found this article explained it all well https://ro.co/fertility/best-time-to-take-ovulation-test/

I started testing a couple days after my period, I knew I wouldn’t ovulate any earlier and didn’t wanna waste the tests, I tested once a day and was able to find my peaks and am now pregnant 💕✨
