Intimate area

I just took medication from my OB like 4 weeks ago for BV. After that I've had sex normal no problems. 2 days ago in the middle of sex I got uncomfortable. Idk what happened but after that I got really itchy down there. I looked it up however there are too many options. Any recommendations for itchiness down there? Just to relieve itchiness.

I was expirence itchiness down there. I just used water and anti septic liquid solution to wash after doing my business. And i made sure to dry with tissue before putting up my underwear. If it didn't help, u can get over the counter itching cream for intimate area.

Oh my word I'm experiencing this right now 😭

@Daniella let me know what product you're using or what you do 😭

Vagisil max strength is the best. There’s also an anti itch cream that comes with monistat but you can buy it separately as well.

It's now a little better I just washed it with warm water and a virginal wash soap.

don't use any feminine washes like vagisil or summers eve. they will throw off your ph balance and cause more problems. there are plenty of reasons you could be experiencing itchiness. is it possible you have a yeast infection? i'd recommend using monistat.

@kai makani thank you. I also sent a message to my doctor but I just wanna relieve the itch mostly. It's super bad.

The brand Queen V used to make a spray called itch don’t kill my vibe but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be part of their product line anymore. Its main ingredients were coconut oil & tea tree oil. It helped me out a lot when I had used it a few years back.

You arent alone! Metro is just way tooooo strong!!!! Not a doc but u prolly messed up you ph again. PSA ladies……. Apple cider vinegar with purified water douche. Just buy a cheap bix if douch pourbit out (never use that stuff). Then add the half table spoon of organic apple cider vinegar fill with water. Finish the bottle. After you pat yourself dry….. apply a thin layer organic coconut oil inside and outside of lips. ENJOY!!!!!

Hi, if you took the medication and got rid of the BV, but continued to have sex with the same partner who did not do anything to remove the bacteria from his reproductive areas, that same bacteria you passed to him in sex before was likely hanging out in his pubic hair or wherever else and has traveled right back to you. The next time you do a treatment for BV, make sure he removes any hair while you’re not having sex. And if you have pubic hair , you should probably give yourself a fresh start too

@Botanica technically the bacteria can also hang out in his genital tract also, but be asymptomatic. It isn’t just external to the hair. Try using condoms for a little while, see if that helps. And if so, he may need some level of treatment.

Coconut oil
