taxes as a sahm
I know it’s not close to tax time at all but I’m just curious if any stay at home mamas have filed taxes and claimed their kids and if they got any money back? I only worked 2 months this year and have 2 kids so im just curious how tax season will go next year and i file as head of household. ( their dad can’t claim them for certain reasons)

So for last years taxes, I worked January through mid January but was paid maternity leave through the beginning of May. The rest of the year I was unemployed (SAHM). I claimed our daughter and filed as single HoH and got a nice sized return back; more this year than all other years put together. I’m also following this post because I haven’t worked at all this year but will have 2 kids that will need to be claimed. Wanting to know if it’ll be worth it for me to claim them this year or if hubby should claim them
I would think you could but I’m not exactly sure.
