If you'd be around chase a lot, I'd likely change it, but if it's someone you only see occasionally, it wouldn't be as big of a deal to me.
Depends on how close you are and how often you'd be around each other I think/how much you care it's similar. I wanted to use Eva (after my paternal grandmother) as a first name if I had a second girl but my sister has an Ava so I've used it as a middle name for my first daughter because I feel it's too similar. But then my partner and I have had names picked for years and have said if a friend or family used the same name before we did we would still use the name too 🤷🏼♀️
we dont see eachother often at all! only holiday really, we live in two different states
