Feeling guilty

If you were completely broke and had bills coming up and you had money put away for your 1 year old . Would you use some of it to pay bills? I feel so guilty just thinking about it . I’m still going to try everything in my power to get it myself somehow before I have to make that decision . What would you do ? Have you ever been in a situation like this? I know 100% I will replace it with double once I can if I do end up using it . Thoughts? Advice?

If you plan to replace it I don’t see why not use it if you need it. Gotta pay bills to have a decent life with your little one!

I’d try and find away to avoid it , if I can’t and it’s my last resort then I’ll use it. The baby is just 1 , and I’m assuming the money is for when they get older so u got plenty of time to replace it and even double it like u stated

I wouldn’t feel bad. Paying your bills takes priority here (that too in a way is for your 1 year old especially if it’s a utility bill) circumstances change and hopefully you will be able to replace and increase the money you put aside but for sure use it to pay your bills and don’t feel bad xxx

Bills are most important the 1 yr old won’t know any different. Life’s not easy and sometimes we just have to make best with what we got. I had 3 jobs at one point to make ends meet it sucked but had to be done :/. Good luck hope your situation gets better for ya.

Can you ring up and put your bills on an instalment plan? We can do that here. They don’t expect us to pay the whole bill every quarterly if we cannot afford it, they direct debit weekly (the bill divided by 12w) until the next bill comes in. I’m in Australia though, many people I know now have bills on instalments I dunno if you can do that there.
