Ovulation day babies

Has anyone conceived a girl on ovulation day? Recently found out I’m pregnant and we did the deed on ovulation day…and 4 days before but assuming ovulation day was the winning ticket

We tried this trick by doing the deed 2 days and 1 day before and I am pregnant with my second boy. The science is there but it’s still a game of luck.

I conceived a boy on ovulation day

Its tricky isnt it. According to Shettles , if your 4 day before deed should be the one that catches on, then your baby should be a girl but if your ovulation day one should catch on then you have a higher chance of having a boy.. but just like Kait said its a game of chance and luck.😨 I have two boys (both of them DTD on ovulation day), i really would want a girl as a third will be my last pregnancy and ive been going crazy lately with reading up and down left and right about everything ovulation and the role if at all it plays in deciding gender.. hehe . Congratulations hun and hope you get the news you want. An early gender scan should help ease the anxiety if theres any🫶🏾

I will be totally happy with either!! Is there any science behind which sperm wins? The 4 day before O or the O one?? Or is that just happen chance?

So they say that male sperm are faster and stronger so if the egg is always there they are likely to win. While female sperm are slower but they can live longer in the vagina so if ovulation is a few days after sex they are more likely to win.

so this question all depends on the strength of the sperm in general. But it is not totally impossible for the sperm before ovulation to win as sperm can last up till 5 days in the woman. Female sperms last longer tho slower to get to destination so by day 4 if there was any sperm left from that deed, it was most likely a female one.

@Robyn wow really?? That’s really interesting!!
