Job Seekers Allowance
Am I entitled to anything according to this letter? They sent me about 5 letters and it’s all so confusing. Am I right in assuming I’ll be paid but just for the period dated. There’s no mention of what I should do next? Thanks x
Edit: I can see it says they will give me NI contributions for that period, so not actual money in the bank, right? I’ve tried for over a year with a job, this is so hard!!!

The way I read it they won't be physically paying you any money at all because they don't accept whatever reason you gave for the delayed application. You'll get NI credits but that's it, and they also don't appear to be giving you any money going forward either 🫤

It is not very clear but I would interpret that as 2 parts: May to June - they won’t give you anything as you were late making a claim. They will only give you NI contributions June to now - they won’t give you anything because you don’t have enough NI contributions in the past 2 years. They will only give you NI contributions but only if you keep turning up at the jobcentre
