Universal Credit

I am due to be made redundant at the end of my maternity leave in a couple of months. I've preemptively done a couple of benefits calculators to see what I might be able to get to help us with bills while I'm job searching. The calculators are coming up with £6.35/week for UC. Does this seem right? For reference my partner works FT and gets just over 34k. We also own out home with a mortgage. The only other thing we get is child tax credit.

I m not sure but if you being made redundant did you get pay out?

@Karina I do get a payout but it's only a couple weeks worth of pay because I wasn't there very long.

@Laurenriley thank you. It's not ideal and I can at least get job seekers in the meantime. Just worried I won't manage to get a job quickly
