Help!

I'm going to be 27 weeks on monday, and I need help finding not only an ob office but a hospital that will take my insurance, which is texas Children's Star, I have found many obs that take it, but sadly haven't found a hospital that's in network with this insurance and I need help to find an ob that delivers at a hospital that takes texas children's, so please help me if you know about any that do because I'm losing hope on finding any.

You should be able to call your insurance and they can give you doctor names/ hospitals that are covered. Or they might have an online database you can search

I've tried calling, but they keep sending me lists of obs that take it, but then when I call they work with hospitals out of network with that insurance and I've tried explaining so many times I need hospitals in network not just ob offices, but no luck

Im not sure how things work in your state but try calling your local social services office, you may be able to apply for Medicaid as a secondary insurance for the duration of your pregnancy and delivery

Can you get on pregnancy Medicaid instead? A lot of places take it

If anything find an ob and use them and research a separate hospital and go there when the time comes. Or look on hospital websites and check their insurances and then see who is the ob

I'm on medicaid, but my card says texas Children Star, and my problem isn't the ob offices it's the hospitals that no longer take it and want me to change it, but my insurance covers a lot

https://www.texaschildrenshealthplan.org/find-a-provider You should be able to find a hospital provider
