Why do a lot of men not want to have kids?

Seems counter to evolution. Any thoughts?

Because it’s a lot of responsibility and our society makes them pay for their children, they can’t just father them and f*** off, well they can but they still have to pay. Men are still evolutionarily wired to seek fertile looking women, as in youthful looking, attractive etc. And they are still primed to have as many sexual partners as they can. So the evolution is still affecting their behaviour, but some just don’t want to commit to having children because it’s hard work.

It's expensive to have children. The way things are right now, people are having a hard enough time taking care of themselves. Rent, groceries, healthcare, having reliable, transportation, etc. are hard for a lot of people to keep up with. People don't want to have children if they can barely afford to live comfortably themselves.

Simply: they want to be the baby, cared for and loved like the woman is their mommy.

They don't have the same biological clock women have. They can still have kids in their 70 so yeah, they are not in a hurry

In America I would say for as many men don’t want to have kids, there is an equal amount or more that literally do not care about how many women they get pregnant

@Chi absolutely agree. It's way too difficult these days, it's overwhelming

@Kristen It is!

They want them, they just don't want to do the work (Most of them anyways)

A lot of them didn’t have a father figure to raise them and circumsicion causes trauma between men n their mothers and subsequently women . It prevents them from truly bonding n feeling real love 💕
