Snap employment and training
Hey mom's. Has anyone received the snap employment training on the mail? I've had snap before where they were giving the max amount for snap and never was I required to do the employment training. At that time I was in college. Is it new? I quit my job and I immediately filed for snap because my job said I made to much. And now they're giving me the max amount again but with the employment and training thing. They didn't give me a deadline of when to work.

Do you know if there's any consequences if you don't do the training?
They will either decrease your benefits or take it away completely and you’d have to fight with them to get it back

I’m currently in the employment training , they don’t give you a deadline for when you have to start working they pretty much “ help with anything you need to get back working like “job readiness classes “ you have to attend & everyday until you get employment you have to check in with a case manager on zoom or in person for attendance in these classes them it’s pretty annoying but the quicker you get a job the quicker you don’t have to do all that extra stuff However keep in mind if you miss attendance or don’t show up when they ask you to it could cost you a decrease in your benefits , which they will remind you all the time
