birthday gifts!

My son is finally into kinetic sand and blocks and vehicles. He's getting a balance beam, new books, a sand/water table, and a bounce house inflatable for all the future celebrations we do at home We don't do many toys 😅

My son likes anything that lights but he loves cars too he will probably get a new car tho or something big I want to spoil him this year since he’s really getting interested in things

Truthfully we haven’t done gifts the past two years. We throw her a big party and she gets more than enough presents. I feel like she’s young enough where she won’t notice

I look through lovevery and kiwi co toys and get dupes on Amazon. Right now, my son’s favorite toy is a wood block with wooden bees. I put it out of reach and give it to him when I need to cook or do laundry. He gets so invested in it.

Since our son is still little enough to appreciate small things and won’t remember gifts, we’ve asked family members to just make a contribution to his 529 college savings fund this year! And we will get him some small things he loves like stickers, little trucks, bubbles, etc 😀

For my daughter, I’m thinking of buying her a kitchen set

We are trying to limit toys since he will get plenty at his party 🤪 so planning on practical things like shoes and pajamas with prints he likes as he is hitting a growth spurt lol

we took an early birthday trip to disney. got some good memories and good pictures. also got a bubble wand and some overpriced toys but hey! it's disney and her birthday trip! for her actual birthday we'll probably do a dinner out together and let the family buy the gifts lol. the few grand we spent for and on this trip was more than enough. as for her favourite toy now? any kind of figure/doll, bonus for houses for them as well. we've got some moana dolls, some bluey figures, blueys tree house, and some little people figures and little people houses. any kind of house and doll is an instant win.

My daughter is obsessed with her big sister's minikane dolls, so we got her one for her birthday. She's also getting some books, art supplies, and clothes. I tend to collect things here and there throughout the year and just keep it all in my closet, so I can't even remember everything off the top of my head right now. I'm sure there's stuff in there that I've completely forgotten about. 🙃
