I got the injection in January for the first time, it was great at first but 3 months later I got my second injection and I haven’t stopped bleeding (period) since April, apparently it’s quite common. I wouldn’t it again but then again it’s different for everyone x
I had the implant for a year before getting it taken out and getting pregnant the month after. I loved the implant for the fact that I didn’t have to worry about remembering to take anything. My periods were regular and did become a bit lighter. I’m 2 weeks pp and will definitely be getting the implant again in a few weeks.
I had the implant a few years ago. It made me super hungry and I put on a lot of weight so I had it taken out after a year or so
3rd time having the implant &love the fact I don’t have to remember to take anything, also the first time having the implant, my periods stopped for all 3 years but the second time, the first year my periods stopped but after that I got them irregularly. Now my third time getting it I’m hoping that my periods come like every 3months
Thanks everyone, i got the implant this morning , so far im feeling good. Pain was 3/10 , the only thing that hurt was the anaesthesia needle I think im gonna stock up on panty liners and tampons because of the irregular bleeding , stay blessed mamas 🤍
I was on the implant for a few months before I got pregnant and it made my hormones skyrocket, like worse than since I've been pregnant. I wouldn't go back on it. But it's different for everyone and I'm sure lots of people have positive experiences with it!
