Csection sterilisation
Has anyone had a planned csection so they can have their tubes tied or be sterilised? I'm not sure if that's the same thing or different, but I'm expecting my 3rd and would very much like them to be my last and was wondering how people found it asking for that and recovering from it x

I've not had a c-section before but have lots of anxiety and trauma from my 2nd I just mostly want to be prepared to talk with the midwife about what I want this time
Definitely bring it up with them. You’ll have to be referred to a consultant to discuss it all but depending on your age and as it’s your 3rd they may be happy to do it. X
I had my second c section in may and was sterilised I didn’t have any pain from the sterilisation I am 39 nearly 40 X

So I’m due my third next month. I have been booked in for a 3rd c-section and sterilisation. Because I’ve previously had two sections they’re more willing to do it and also as I’ve had some complications this time that has made pregnancy quite dangerous for me. I spoke to my consultant and they were happy to do it but a couple of other dr’s said I might struggle due to my age (I’m 29).
