Sure start maternity grant

I think I was paid 2 maybe 3 weeks after I got my MatB1 back. Sorry I can't be very specific

I didn't get a letter till after I got the payment I remember that much

How longer after sending the paperwork off did you get the text?

@Kim I think I got the text closer to 2 weeks after I'd sent it all off

I got mine 3 months after. They can take the mick with it keep phoning up to keep at them

Has anyone been refused it? This is my first baby but myself and partner have a decent household income and don’t receive any benefits, apart from what I now claim for my baby x

@Kim I was under the impression you had to be claiming some more form of benefits that was listed to be able to receive it x

I thought the same, I’m going to send it anyway and see what they say x
