Depending on how fast your Dr.s office & work respond to the claim is when your benefits will start!

I filled out my app and had it saved for me when I was ready Ask for your form from your dr at about 28weeks I think and then you can have it to be sure that’s about when I got mine PFL is a little more complicated because you have to wait until your disability runs out They will send you a message in your inbox Keep checking your inbox.

I did! It wasn’t really necessary though I’ll be honest but you can’t add it to the end so just take the whole thing.

You fill out disability leave first and then maternity leave :) so you get about 8-9 weeks of disability and then when you hit maternity leave you’ll get additional weeks but I would consult with you work as well. (If youre working) because they also set that up for you. Every business is different :) but you can start your disability 4 weeks before your labor date if you wanted to do that :) all you need is an OB note and the due date :) in some cases you can also get extra weeks if you are at high risk pregnancy :) (I have a heart condition so I wasn’t able to work the last 2 months and my disability covered that and additional 4 weeks before my maternity leave kicked in)
