IUD?
I don't know if this group will go anywhere but thought I'd try. I was looking for a group about people's experiences with different birth control. My office is all for the IUD but I had an awful experience. It still sounds amazing but I'm a little stand offish about trying again. I'm horrible at taking the pill. I've heard too many people getting pregnant on the patch and shot.

I had an iud for a good bit and loved it. My body rejected the Mirena twice but then we put in a kyleena and it worked great. I also suck at taking the pill so IUD was my best shot. I did still have periods but no pregnancies.
@Dakota it's a little TMI but apparently I have an unusually small uterus and my IUD perforated my uterine wall during insertion and I just had surgery to get it removed. She said she can do ultrasound guided and prescribe some medicine if I decide I want to try again.
@Brittany oh wow! Yeah I was be scared to do it again for sure! lol honestly there’s really no good option for birth control which sucks! They all have so many negatives

I had an IUD before getting pregnant (Kyleena), I had my baby 3 months ago and I just got another IUD (mirena). Both my experiences were very good, but I do know many people who have had bad experiences with IUD. Maybe try a different brand than you had before?
