The dreaded C word (Christmas) 🤣

I’m so excited for our first Christmas as a little family and baby will be 9 months old. What do you get a 9 month old for Christmas??!! We ideally want to start buying things here and there because we can’t afford to do everything at once. Even though he won’t remember it, I want it to be so special for him.

Following as I'm in the exact same boat! X

I really wouldn't go crazy if you can help it lovely as he will have no idea what's going on! Just a couple of little toys if you have anything you want to get for him, any new clothes if he is just going into 9-12 at that point! I'd definitely just mainly get things that I needed for him and wrap them up haha x

Totally agree with Shannon, especially if money is a bit tight. Maybe buy less for him on the day (because he will only be bothered about the paper 😂) and have a day out somewhere to see Christmas lights and Santa 🥰

I would say some books, bath toys, a piece of clothing

I’m probably just going to get mine one big toy , some new pj . Little related Xmas treats .However I do think I’d make the effort to make the house more magical and start our traditions . His birthday also two weeks after Xmas so I need to be creative . His dad birthday on the 21st . So between 21st dec and 14 jan I’m just going to have to make everything really special

If just get a few little baby books and some toys recommend for his age. Like a few, he won't even unwrap at that age so I wouldn't worry too much. Just make it fun and special in other ways. Family time etc. Doesn't have to be about the gifts. Don't overthink it too much, it's your first Christmas with him, it will be special anyway!

LB will be 11m and we dont plan on getting him much as know the family will spoil him as the only grandchild on both sides. We will start traditions to do as a family instead.

Make the time special do little activities as a family and take lots of photos its things like that will make it special and a christmas to remember.
