Late period on implant

My periods were a mess on the implant; reason why I had it removed.

I’ve been on the implant for over 7 months and for me it screwed my periods over completely I was very irregular and had extended bleeding for weeks! I’ve had to take the mini pill to control the bleeding but the doctors have said that it can take up to a year for your body to settle especially once having a little one! I’m sure your body is just adjusting to the implant and eventually it will settle into some regular pattern for you

Mine stopped. It only started up again towards the end.

My implant literally fucked up my periods! I’m currently taking the pill along side having my implant, if the pill don’t help then I’ll be taking the implant out & going on to something different x

My periods were always a bloody mess on the implant. When I first had it inserted I had no periods for the best part of 2 years then when it had been in a while it was irrelegular and once a month but horrendous. It's starts off at a high dose and the older it gets the less hormone it releases so you're likely to lose your periods at one point then they come back but quite irregular.

I only had a period every 6/7 months while on the implant
