I have Nexplanon and I recommend it the procedure isn’t painful at all and I don’t even feel it, I forget it’s there. With the IUD there’s going to be some strings that hang down and all my doctors have told me that your partner can feel the strings and you will feel it too, as if you have a tampon inside you they did say that the feeling will go away after a few weeks, but I don’t think I could forget about that lol

Also, the Nexplanon only last three years compared to the IUD which last seven years I’m pretty sure and if you want to have a kid in the future, I feel like Nexplanon is the best choice because once it expires when you get it taken out, it won’t take that long to get pregnant afterwards compared to IUD

I have the mirena IUD and love it. I had a nexplanon get lost in my arm for like two years when it migrated

I wanna get the IUD I did not like my nexplanon I bled for months n mines always moved when it was time to get it replaced n the procedure was so long because it moved

I wouldn’t get the iud or the depo shot. I had a doctor put the iud in and a year passed I had to get it removed due to it being cockeyed and falling out. Still to this day I blame the doctor. The first one I had it didn’t hurt but this time it hurt so bad. She didn’t care.

@Angelica what would you recommend?
