Blurred vision

The past two days I've had severe blurry vision to where I can barley see. I've been putting it off because I assume it's a side effect to uping my dose on a medication but this is starting to get concerning. I have an appt coming on Tuesday but I work Fri and Sun driving all day. Has anyone had anything similar? Should I try and see a doctor immediately?

I would absolutely call your doctor…driving with blurry vision seems very dangerous

What medication did you up? Vision changes are normal but this sounds very drastic. I would for sure at least call your OB. Do you have any other symptoms? Headache? Nausea? Swelling? Are you able to take your BP?

@Favi I struggled so hard just to read this 🥲 Welbutrin, but he upped it about a month ago and I've been pretty consistent on taking them everyday. I just got over covid not to long ago so its hard to compare symptoms but my blood pressure has been higher than my normal. I just took it and it was 136/90. I did take my sugar at work because I felt super dizzy and it was a bit on the lower side (79) curious if it could be GD?

It sounds more like pre eclampsia. I would get checked out. Could lead to serious issues including premature labor and seizures Could MAYBE be a side effect too but since you're pregnant I'd get checked out 79 is a normal blood sugar

I think it’s more of a pregnancy side effect

Do you have any swelling, raised blood pressure, headache that won’t go away with Tylenol? I would at minimum call my OB to see what they suggest and if I should go in to the ER. Or just go be seen. Especially if you have to drive for work.

It sounds like pre eclampsia. 136/90 is a little high too, but not scary high. There's no known symptoms that determine GD other than the glucose test confirming it. Please let your OB know of these symptoms, pre eclampsia is very dangerous to you & baby.

I have GD. This doesn't sound like It at all. If your blood sugar reading is normal ranges during fasting, before eating and after eating. It's not GD. I obviously dont know how far along you are though, and it can develop around 24 weeks or sooner. I don't do the glucose test in my pregnancies with my midwife. I've always had blood work done earlier in pregnancy to see what's going on. And through pregnancy to continue to monitor. And i also check during the day at home when needed while following a whole foods diet. This is my 3rd time with GD. (6TH pregnancy lol 😆) From what's your saying, it sounds more like pre-e, like everyone else is saying. Those are some of the symptoms I've always been told to watch for. The high blood pressure and the extremely blurry vision. My friend had it with BOTH of her pregnancies and she honestly didn't even have alot of symptoms. I would absolutely talk with your OB so they can check you out. Not to mention, it can calm your nerves getting some answers.
