Anti-D injection
Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience having the anti-D injection? Just found out I need to have it due for blood types!

I had one too on Friday and it was fine. I had to wait for 30 mins after to check I wasn’t going to have a reaction but it was fine as injections go x
Yeah I did with my last baby and just waiting on results for this pregancy. Experience was fine!

Yep, had it recently as a precaution as I was spotting. They'll need a recent blood sample from you, and then they'll prep the injection. It's goes in your arm muscle, and it's a biggish needle but not overly painful etc. I felt tired for a couple of hours but no side effects other than that. All straight forward. The only thing for me was cos it was after a bleeding episode it was not planned and I had to wait ages for the injection to be ready cos it is specific to you. For your 28 week one I hope it'll be quick!
