PCOs and testing

I’d wait to see if you get your period? That’s what I’ve been doing ace PCOS TOO and I thought the same thing

The only thing that changes with PCOS is that it can be a little difficult to tell when you ovulate, or if you even did. Are you confirming ovulation with BBT or something? If you have a definitive ovulation day then you can test on the same timeline as anyone else. As early as like 8dpo if you want. But 14 dpo would definitely be more reliable.

14dpo is plenty of time for a home pregnancy test. I tested positive at 10dpo

Its all based on when you ovulate. 14dpo isnt early at all if you're 2 weeks past ovulation.

Because I have PCOS I never know when I’m ovulating 🙈

I have PCOS too, you could start testing I guess

Its always good to use test strips and track your BBT (basal body temperature). That will help you confirm your real surge/peak for ovulation.

@Patrice that's what I did, noticed my bbt was elevated and stayed that way after I confirmed ovulation bbt spike

@Onome seeing that im currently undergoing medicated IUI cycles, i only test with the digital ovulation test.

I think testing starting now would be good

I think I might only ovulate around CD31 with my irregular periods. Anyone else also ovulate much later in their cycle?

I ovulate really late into my cycle between CD30-32 and actually quite close to AF too! So I’m just trying to be mindful of that and keep an eye. I use ovulation strips too throughout my cycle xx
